Situated in Springfield's historic Rountree district, Pickwick Place was Casey Architecture's previous home office and the first development project of their own. The enjoyment found in the historic restoration, financing, and revitalization of this neighborhood icon sparked our love for historic development and the resulting impact on the neighborhood.
Casey Architecture served as architect, developer, owner, and manager of the property while officed there for sixteen years. The interior and exterior of the mission-style wings were restored and adapted for contemporary occupants, while the original home underwent a small addition to add a new living space above the garage.
The Pickwick Place of today is easily identified with the historic Rountree district, delightful dining, and a family-like atmosphere. It is regarded as one of Springfield's best mixed-use neighborhoods.
