"Heartland wouldn't have pursued the project if it weren't for Allen Casey."

-Nelson Klavitter

Senior VP of Operations, Heartland Financial

Winner of five “Best Project” awards, this facility is a unique blend of historic renovation and development of a high-tech working environment. Currently, this National Historic Register building contains the Heartland Financial Center’s data and operations facility as well as their corporate office and meeting rooms.

Casey Architecture was responsible for a feasibility analysis, placement of the two-building complex on the National Register of Historic Places, obtaining and implementing several financial incentive programs, and orchestrating the total redevelopment process.

The abandoned 45,000 square foot four-story building, constructed in 1886, was restored to its original beauty, and received a stunning 14,000 square foot addition to best accommodate the new technology-focused occupants.
